December Calendar Page
For my December calendar page I stamped a winter tree onto that botany book paper I had laying around and outlined it with GLITTER! I did some holiday paper laying on the side. I stamped Warm Winter Wishes on a winter scrap and layered it on too. Added some silver leaves and the Queen of The Stars. This is not my normal style, more of an experiment. But hey, I got my December page done!
Block Hop!
I'm excited I got to participate in the ATB and 100 Proof Press Block hop. I feel the wintery feel coming on, and I created a two block thing with some of my favorite stamps! It was a lot of fun to create.
For my tower, I painted each block piece with blue paint, then covered it with vintage paper from a botany book (I am currently stuck on using this paper!), stamped some snowflakes and embossed. Then I layered on the embellishments and stamps. I made a mini-winter wonderland with my favorite queen of stars stamp, a little tree and some cute fungus. And for the first time in a long time I whipped out the GLITTER! I really enjoyed creating with the blocks. Thanks for stopping by. If you're interested in more block creations you can like ATB on Facebook - there are some amazing crafty towers out there!

October Calendar Page
Finally! I got the 2015 calendars in over at 100 Proof Press. I had to make one, I just cannot resist that BatBoy stamp! I inked the heck out of my calendar page and then I used a ton of different stamps for the background. So, here's my first calendar page for my 2015 calendar challenge - I guess that's on again!
Stamps Used: Bat Boy, Gear, Dangle Heart, Love Who You Are, Measurement Bar, Large Handwriting, Circle, and others!
October "Take The Challenge"
Day of the Dead "Take the Challenge" at Design Memory Craft
I choose to create a few Day of the Dead pieces for this challenge, and I really did have a lot of fun!
All 4 things I stamped up. All of the stamps I used are from 100 Proof Press - except the letter stamps
I had been really wanting to create something with this sugar skull stamp - and this challenge got me to use it. I used several other stamps to create the backgrounds on all 4 pieces. The other main stamps you see on this card are the dangling stars and the measurement bar.
I have always loved this saying.
Stamps used: small sugar skull, hanging heart from cling set, and lots of background stamps.
Yeah - I LOVE this sugar skull lady stamp.
Again, I just love this sugar skull stamp designed by my friend Danita. The background here was made with gelatos. Then I stamped all over, added the hearts, stamped the sugar skull to paper and glued it to the wood cut out.

Merfolk, with Lots of Scales
I participated in a Merfolk altered art swap with RetroCafeArt. I had a lot of fun creating my own king and queen of the crafty sea. I knew I wanted them to have scales on the bottom, so I searched until I found just the right stamp for the job (which also happens to be one of my favorite 100 Proof Press Stamps). I stamped, colored and cut out the lockets from this stamp too many times to count! I painted the bodies, and did a little stamping on them. I found some extra molded faces on my table, and they worked out pretty well for the heads. It was a fun project and I look forward to my next art swap!
Other stamps I used: seashorse, number set block, small sprig, stars , the moon from this plate, and The Magic of Mind

June Stamped Calendar Page
This my June calendar page. So yay, I only have a few more months to go before it is all filled up!
I have been wanting to use the masked lady for a long time, but I didn't really know how. I actually think if I had this June page to do over again, I would have made the circles in the background a bit bolder. But hey, I got my June page done! Seems to be all I can keep up with right now! I'm on the lookout for summer art swaps - those are always fun. Happy June!

The Jewel Box Ballerinas - turned Art Dolls
My May baby had a birthday yesterday - and I bought her one of her favorite books, The Jewel Box Ballerinas. I decided to get crafty with it, and make her the two little girls from the story - Miranda and Mathilda. I had a friend who suggested I sculpt the head for the girls, but after playing around with some clay I knew that wasn't going to happen! So I stuck with what I kind of know - fabric. I constructed the dolls OK, it was their dresses that gave me a headache! And I had to make TWO!
I have a few more characters from other books in mind to make, we'll see if I ever get around to it!

May Calendar Post
Woo hoo! I actually had the May calendar page before it was May! This is seriously shocking news. So here it is. Again, not how I wanted it too look, but this is how it turned out. I think I wanted something bolder. I just can't get away from the style of painting the page with white paint and stamping on that as the background.
I originally stopped before I painted the pink burst around the whole thing, but I think it needed more color.

April Showers...
bring umbrella inspired artwork!
First I painted the paper with white and then used black and green stazon. I did make the umbrellas on a separate piece of paper and then cut them out. Stamps I used: the three of us, flower row, clouds, black umbrella, umbrella with handle.

What did that last post say?
October? Well NOW it's February, and I really did create three calendar pages since then! But who knows where those photos are. I'm here to share my February calendar page and introduce a fun new stamp set!!! I love it!!!
These are all 100 Proof Press Stamps. I love the winged crown. I also made a Mother Teresa quote into a stamp, because I love it "do small things with great love." I'm going to stamp it everywhere. But the other stamps are from a new set we offer - Perfect for art journaling.

I AM going to try to get working in my art journal more.
